We do love animals; however, that would be case by case as some Nail Techs may have allergies to certain animals. Please let us know of any animals in advance so we can inform your Nail Tech.

Yes, of course! That’s one of the conveniences of having your nail service completed in the comforts of your own home.

We DO NOT offer Fills, Acrylics or Hard Gel as a service. Please make sure your nails are free of acrylics and hard gel products. We do remove acrylic and hard gel products; however, it will be an add on service of $40.

What safety measures are implemented to ensure I am safe from fungal/bacterial infections?2020-08-09T16:38:30+00:00

We use a hospital grade Autoclave at the standard temperature of 121 degrees Celsius to clean and disinfect all our professional tools. An Autoclave is a medical sterilizer treatment which will inactivate all resistant bacterial spores in addition to fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Files, buffers, and pedicure bowl liners are 1-time customer use and disposed of after every service is completed.

*We offer our customers the option to purchase their own professional set of tools which comes with a buffer, file, nipper, clipper, and pusher so they can keep and use for future appointments.

Depending on your ZIP CODE we service the following areas of Arizona…SCOTTSDALE, TEMPE, BILTMORE, PARADISE VALLEY, and ARCADIA. We may have a small travel fee for these locations.

We totally understand you want to be cautious which is why our team of Nail Specialists follow very strict protocols, wear masks and get COVID tested if symptoms are present. We would never put our customers or staff in harm’s way. We ask that customers wear masks also so they feel comfortable during their services.

Can I get my Manicure and/or Pedicure done outdoors?2021-03-19T16:56:23+00:00

We can provide your Essential Mobile Nails appointment wherever everyone is most comfortable, whether that be inside or outside. As long as we have a covered patio, access to warm water, a flat surface, a power outlet and comfortable temperatures. At times it may be too cold or warm outside and depending on the polish you choose it may not cure properly. If the temperature is too hot or cold your Nail Specialist will ask to complete your service inside so that your polish cures properly.

Essential Nails is a beauty and nail health focused service, and our Nail Technicians are NOT equipped to provide medical nail care. If you are diabetic or require special nail care please consult your health professional. Our staff can not lift customers out of bed or lift their limbs to provide a manicure and/or pedicure service, we do not treat fungus or have the ability to cut thick nails. Please share at the time of your booking if you have any type of medical condition.

We are not a medical service and Do Not treat any type of fungal bacteria build up on toes or hands. Please consult your PCP and/or Podiatrist for any Medical concerns and treatment needed.

Can sun exposure, sunscreen and wearing dark clothing cause my light colored polish to fade or change color?2021-07-17T19:13:13+00:00

Yes, it is possible for sun exposure and not removing sunscreen from your hands after application to your body to cause your light colored polish to fade and/or change color. You may also notice light colored polish fade and/or change color when wearing dark colored clothing.

4 yrs old and under we will polish your child’s fingers and toes for FREE.

5-12 yrs old is 25% off services requested.

*Discounts are just for children when an adult schedules any combo Mani/Pedi.

We send a courtesy text reminder 24-hours in advance of your appointment to confirm and if you need to cancel and/or reschedule that would be the time to avoid a cancellation fee. *If you cancel within 24-hours of your appointment time, we do require a 40% cancellation fee paid via Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay or Credit Card. If you prefer not to pay the cancellation fee; unfortunately, we will not be able to schedule you an Essential Nails appointment in the future.

While we don’t anticipate this occurring, it may happen for a variety of reasons. If so, please contact Essential Nails within 48 hours of your completed service, providing photos of the current state of your nails. *We understand some customers may not be completely satisfied with their nails and would just prefer a refund. If that is the case depending on the circumstances we will be happy to consider a refund; however, if a refund is given we will not be able to schedule you an Essential Nails appt in the future.
